Why You Should Stick To One Perfume

It's not uncommon to hear about people having two or more bottles of perfume in their homes. In fact, some even go as far as collecting perfumes simply because they like the smell or they really are fond of collecting things.

When using a perfume, however, it might be a good idea for you to stick to one kind depending on where you go or what you do. It's a lot better to use just one because, well let's face it. You can't wear perfume like you do with clothes, right?

1. It makes a whole lot of sense to consume the contents of one bottle first before you buy a new one.

This makes sense logically, and well, economically too. You can't work your way through half the contents of a bottle of perfume and decide right then and there that you are tired of the same old scent and that you would rather buy a new brand. That would be a waste of money, and a reckless way of managing it as well. Why waste a perfectly good and hopefully aromatic perfume?

Let's face it; times are hard these days no matter who we are, where we are or how much we earn. Just because a bottle of perfume could set you back by just less than a hundred dollars or so doesn't mean that we should pretend like we're not wasting money.

If you want to have a change of perfume, try to hold out till you get to consume the bottle of perfume that you're currently using. Seriously, it's going to help you out. This way, you get to practice discipline as far as spending money is concerned.

2. It gives you a sense of identity - you know, kind of like how people recognize you.

Have you ever thought about how people perceive you? Whether it's that hairdo that you wear everyday or if it's your cheerful and enthusiastic disposition no matter what you do.

Well, believe it or not, the perfume that you wear may also give you a sense of identity. People who know you and especially those that have just met you will definitely associate you with whatever way is easiest for them to recall. If you happen to have a rather great smelling bottle of perfume at your disposal, why not use that to your advantage and leave a lasting impression among friends, acquaintances, colleagues and co-workers, right?

3. If people love the way you smell, then why change it right?

It doesn't matter if it's your girlfriend or simply just someone who you happen to share a ride with when you're taking the subway. If you smell good with the perfume that you're wearing, don't change a good thing that's happening for you. Leave a lasting impression on whoever you meet no matter where you are. Stick to one brand of perfume at a time. This way, people who get to see you again might just be expecting to whiff up a smell of your pleasant perfume that they have come to associate you with.
